This notice explains what happens when you send a project inquiry through this website.
What we collect
The inquiry form collects your selected services, project type, city and state, project description, name, and email address. Timing, a document link, phone number, and company are optional. You may also upload project plans, drawings, or photos as PDF, JPG, or PNG files. We store the files and their names, types, sizes, and integrity checksums. We also store a submission reference, notification status, and timestamps. The website does not automatically open document links.
How we use it
Biggs Built LLC uses this information to review your project, contact you, and discuss scope and availability. Sending an inquiry does not book work or establish a price. We do not use the inquiry form to subscribe you to marketing emails or sell your information.
Where it goes
ChatGPT Sites hosts this website. Inquiry details are stored in a private Cloudflare D1 database, and uploaded documents are stored in private Cloudflare R2 storage. Authorized Biggs Built users can access them through a protected inbox. Files are not published as website content. When email delivery is connected, Resend sends inquiry notifications to our company mailbox. ChatGPT Sites and Cloudflare may process connection information to deliver and protect the website. Sites also records traffic statistics, including visits and page views. These providers have their own privacy policies.
Storage and retention
We retain website inquiries and uploaded documents for 12 months. At expiry they are no longer available through the inbox, and the next maintenance run removes them from active storage. Incomplete uploads are eligible for cleanup after 24 hours. Protected backup copies may remain for up to 30 additional days. The company manages inquiry notification emails in its mailbox under the same 12-month retention policy. If an inquiry becomes a project, separate project and business records may be retained separately.
Spam protection and your browser
We use validation, a hidden spam field, and short-lived request limits to protect the form. Production request limits use a keyed hash of the connection address, rather than storing the address in the inquiry record. The form keeps your answers in page memory while you move between steps; refreshing or leaving the page clears unsent answers. We do not add advertising cookies. Signing in to the protected company inbox uses ChatGPT’s authentication process; customers do not need an account to send an inquiry.
To alternate the header logo’s chisel and magnet animations, we remember only the last animation played in your browser’s local storage. This preference stays in your browser, is not sent to our server, and continues across visits until you clear this website’s stored data. If you prefer reduced motion, the logo stays still and the sequence does not advance.
Your choices
Only share the information needed to discuss the work. Do not include payment details, identification documents, or other sensitive personal information in your description, links, or uploaded documents.
