2. Charlie has helped me transform into a whole new different individual after 6 weeks of intense training with him. Not only has my body seen improvements, but Charlie has challenged my body, and my mind. His sessions are intense, and effective. I am one individual who does not have extra time on my hands to focus on just cardio for 45 minutes a day. Charlie has incorporated cardio and weight training into my workouts now. I can workout for an hour and be sweating buckets by the end of it. Charlie has taught me techniques, and approaches to working out in ways which I have never been exposed to before. This is where I have changed in my knowledge about working out, and also nutritional planning. I’ve been working with Char for a year and half. He has completely changed my life. I’ve dropped more than 40 lbs. of fat and gained several lbs of muscle. Starting out was rough—I never learned how to actually be productive in the gym and I didn’t eat that well. Char totally gave me the tools I needed to make a complete change. Prior to this I’d been working out on my own for several years, however I have NEVER received the results in muscle gain and fat loss that I have through training with Char. I was one of those people that thought “who needs a trainer, it can’t be that hard” or “I can teach myself how to get results”. In the end I found myself doing more harm than good by aggravating an injury I had from bad form, resulting in months of pain. I had to give up working out all together for about a year. Once I had relief, my doctor told me the only way to mend the issue was to strengthen my core. So did that mean sit ups, pushups, and stretching?
So I finally decided it was time to hire an expert. Well this has been the single best investment I have made in myself. In the past 9 months I have lost 25+ pounds, increased my muscle mass and decreased my body fat percentage from about 23% down to 15%. Not only that, but Char was able to focus on building my core (planks are your friend!), strength training and yoga stretching positions. Char has provided increasingly challenging work out plans (which he changes frequently), full nutrition profiles/guidance as well as making himself available when ever needed.
